About Dr. Kimball |
Dr. Grayson Kimball
is a certified sport psychology consultant with the
Association for Applied Sport Psychology, a member of the
United States Olympic Sport Psychology Registry, and a
Certified Double-Goal Coach with the Positive Coaching
Alliance.
Dr. Kimball teaches
undergraduate sport psychology, sport sociology, sport event
planning, research, and statistics courses at Northeastern
University, Mount Ida College, and Newbury College. His
media appearances include the ESPN 2 morning show Cold
Pizza, Sports Radio 1510 The Zone, WBZ Radio, The Boston
Globe, The Boston Herald, The New York Daily News, and Fox
25 Morning News
Dr. Kimball serves as
the Education Director of
GetPsychedSports.org , a 501 (c)(3) non-profit
organization that promotes positive change in youth and high
school sports. He is the sport psychology coach for the New
England Academy of Tennis, Longfellow Tennis Clubs, Natick
Racquet Club, Boston Running Center, and Golf-Rite Learning
Center.
An avid runner, Dr.
Kimball have completed 6 marathons and served as the
Assistant Head Coach for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s
Team-n-Training Boston Marathon Team. He has also provided
mental coaching for numerous marathon runners and teams,
including John Hancock, Tufts University, American Stroke
Association, BostonFit, and the Harvard Extension Running &
Hiking Club. |
